A Co. Leitrim farmer has voiced his anger at the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine after receiving a TB Herd History Record Statement which advised him to cull all of his animals in his herd. See video below.
Speaking to Ocean FM Kevin Comiskey, a well know framing official and suckler farmer has rejected the department’s letter.
Mr Comiskey has accused the people who composed the letter of having little knowledge of what goes through the farmer’s heart when he has to part with animals that he has had on his farm for a number of years.
