The Sligo Mountain rescue team were called out last night after a couple in their sixties were reported missing in the Ballygawley mountains.
The couple had left the Sligo Way path and become disoriented in the darkness.
In total twelve Mountain Rescue personnel responded to the call and were able to locate the missing couple from their phone signal in a forestry area at 11 p.m.
