Ireland’s nomination for EU Commissioner is likely to be made on Tuesday.
Foreign Affairs Minister Simon Coveney is the front-runner for the job, while it’s believed EU Parliament vice-President Mairead McGuinness and Dublin MEP Frances Fitzgerald are also interested in the post.
