North west MEP believes Phil Hogan position ‘untenable’

The Taoiseach is facing calls to ask the European Commission President to consider Phil Hogan’s position.

The EU Trade Commissioner was at the Oireachtas golf society dinner on Wednesday night with 80 other people in Galway – breaching Covid-19 guidelines.

Mr Hogan has since apologised after being prompted by Micheal Martin.
