Irish Water and Donegal County Council are asking people within the county to conserve water this weekend.
The local authority says with the good weather and increased visitor numbers, demand has increased on the supply.
In a statement to OceanFM today, Irish Water say they are working with the council to ensure water is supplied to customers.
People are asked to turn off all non essential water and not to use items such as hosepipes.
