People visiting Coney Island in Sligo Bay can now find out the all-important tide times at the press of a button.
The Sligo Bay RNLI’s Text the Tide is now up and running again.
Details of the safe crossing times can be found by texting the word Coney to 51155.
On many occasions, people crossing to the island have been either stranded or caught in the incoming tide.
Sligo Bay RNLI advises those going to Coney stay close to the row of pillars that run between the island and the coastline.
