Beach goers warned of heavy traffic around the region



With the good weather, there are reports of heavy traffic around the regions beaches.

The Tullan Strand route by Bundoran, Co. Donegal and along Dunmoran Strand near Skreen in Co. Sligo are at a near standstill with motorists advised to find alternative routes if possible.

Irish Water are also issuing a warning for swimmers this weekend as there is a potential of rip currents along the coastline.

CEO John Leech is advising swimmers to only swim in places where there is a lifeguard on duty.
