Ryan backs decision to delay phase four reopening

Transport Minister Eamonn Ryan says the recent spike in Covid-19 cases shows it was correct to delay the phase 4 re-opening.

Latest figures show 45 new cases, 14 people are in hospital and 5 are receiving intensive care.

No new deaths were reported yesterday, and the death toll stands at 1,763.

There was no change in the number of Covid-19 cases in Donegal yesterday, however an additional case was recorded in both Sligo and Leitrim.
