Gardaí in Sligo are carrying out an investigation into an attempted robbery of a bookmaker shop in Sligo Town yesterday evening
A male entered the premises at approximately 7 p.m. on and attempted to gain access to money.
The man is described as being possibly in his 30’s of thin build, wearing a dark green rain coat, he has a red or ginger goatee beard.
Gardaí in Sligo are anxious to speak with this male, or indeed any person who may have witnessed a male matching this description and acting suspiciously in Sligo town yesterday evening.
