Naomh Conaill suspend activity as they await Covid-19 test result

The Naomh Conaill GAA club in Donegal has moved to suspend all activity as they await the result of a Covid-19 test on one of their players.

In a statement issued on social media this evening, the club says it will act in accordance with guidelines laid down by the Donegal GAA, the GAA and the HSE. They also say they have informed Donegal County Board of the situation.

Donegal GAA also addressed the decision today [Tuesday], and explained that the length of the shutdown of activity in the club will depend on the results of further testing.

Naomh Conaill, reigning Donegal senior football champions, are scheduled to get their 2020 campaign underway on Saturday afternoon when they host Milford.
