Government’s travel guidelines ‘putting some Irish tourists into financial difficulty’

A leading Sligo travel agent has told Ocean FM that some Irish tourists are being put into serious financial difficulty by the latest government guidelines on travel overseas.

John Mullaney from Mullaney Travel in Sligo.

He says that some airlines are charging extra fees to customers if they try to change their flights,

And he says other passengers, who have already paid out substantial cash, now have to wait for the airline to cancel a particular flight before they are entitled to a refund.
