A number of items and almost €10,000 in cash were seized by gardai in Sligo yesterday when they carried out a number of search warrants.
Gardai say the items and money are believed to be the proceeds of crime.
A man in his 40s was arrested, and brought to Ballymote Garda Station for questioning in relation to money laundering offences.
He was later released pending a file to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Enquiries are continuing.
