Government urged to provide funding for social distancing at Sligo locations



Calls are being made on the government to urgently release funding to a number of tourist scenic locations in Sligo such as Strandhill, Rosses Point and Enniscrone for the provision social distancing mobility plans.

 

The calls from Sligo Strandhill Councillor Sinead Maguire are being made after large numbers descended on a number of locations once again over the weekend.

 

The Fine Gael Councillor says that while funding has been provided to Sligo it’s important that other town are included to protect the safety of visitors and residents alike.
