Covid-19 cases increase in Sligo & Leitrim



Four new cases of Covid-19 has been confirmed for the North West.  Three of the cases are in Sligo and one in Leitrim.

 

There are now 141 confirmed cases in Sligo, 80 in Leitrim and 465 in Donegal.

 

The National Public Health Emergency Team is expected to brief the government on the 14 day quarantine period for international travellers today.

 

The Government are due to issue a “green list” of countries next week that are deemed safe to fly to.

 

It comes as the number flights from Dublin airport doubled yesterday despite Government advice to avoid non-essential travel.
