The Minister for Rural and Community Development Michael Ring TD has allocated almost €885,000 to three projects in Sligo, Leitrim and South Donegal today under the Rural Regeneration and Development Fund for 2020.
In Sligo the Tubbercurry Regeneration Project 2020 will receive an allocation of € 222,000.
€185,000 has been allocated to the Ballyshannon 2040 ‘Back to Ballyshannon Plan’,
In Leitrim to €476,000 has been made available to the Carrick-on-Shannon Battlebridge Blueway project.
Sligo Leitrim TD Frank Feighan says this funding allocation will continue to help attract tourists to the north west in the future.
