The Cathaoirleach of Leitrim Co Council, Councillor Enda McGloin has confirmed he has voted in favour of the proposed programme for Government.
Cllr McGloin who’s term as Cathaoirleach finishes tomorrow says the Country needs a strong government to help the Country navigate it’s way through the pandemic and ensure that it manages economic recovery.

The Drumshanbo based Councilllor says that although there are still some issues have to be sorted such as ‘one off planning permissions in Leitrim’, and other concerns over green policies still remain a cause of concern , Cllr McGloin feels that the collation between Fine Gael, Fianna Fail and the Greens is the best option for the Country at present.
