A local TD is criticising a HSE proposal that would see a reduction in services for adults with disabilities.
Independent Sligo/Leitrim TD, Marian Harkin, is referencing a recent HSE document which, she says, contradicts the new ‘Programme for Government’ that has a commitment to expand adult day services.
Deputy Harkin believes if schools and creches are allowed to reopen, it should also extend to adult day services.
Speaking to OceanFM News, she says that people in the north west are feeling abandoned.
