Leitrim footballer involved in government formation talks



Leitrim LGFA footballers Anna Conlon has been playing a key role in the ‘Programme for Government’ talks for the Green Party.

Conlon, who’s from Dromahair, is the Green’s Parliamentary Political Manager and was previously Eamonn Ryan’s parliamentary assistant.

She was part of the Green’s negotiation team on government formation talks.

Conlon has been a noted gaelic football for club and county for several seasons – and was the county’s Player of the Year in 2013.

She was also part of the 2007 Leitrim side which lifted the All-Ireland intermediate football title at Croke Park.
