Carl Gethins, 58 Jink’s Avenue, Sligo. Unexpectedly. Reposing at his home today. Removal from his home via Church Hill at 11am on Saturday arriving for Mass of the Resurrection in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Sligo at 11.30am. Burial will follow in Sligo Cemetery. Due to current Covid-19 restrictions, reposing, funeral Mass and burial are private to family and close friends only. Funeral Mass can be viewed live on sligocathedral.ie. Very Reverend Canon Kevin Earley Retired Parish Priest of Frenchpark and Ballinagare, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Summerhill College, Sligo and Ballymoe, Co. Galway. Peacefully, at Drumderrig Nursing Home, Boyle. Canon Earley will lie in private repose at The Sharkey Funeral Home, Frenchpark. Removal to St. Asicus’ Church, Frenchpark on Saturday arriving for 12pm. Concelebrated Mass of the Resurrection followed by interment in Oran cemetery, (via Ballymoe) can be viewed on farewellfilms.ie/sat-13th-june-2020. Due to the current situation, Canon Earley’s Funeral will take place privately. A Memorial Mass will be offered at a later date. Peggy Coughlan, nee Doherty, Cranny Lower, Inver, Co. Donegal. Peacefully, at Letterkenny University Hospital. Reposing at her home on Saturday. Removal at 11.30am from her home on Sunday morning for private cremation. In accordance with government and HSE guidelines, the wake and crematorium is strictly private to immediate family only please. A Memorial Mass for Peggy will be organised at a later date. Due to government restrictions on Covid 19, the wake and funeral will be private to family only please.
