An allocation of 320,000 euro has been provided for the completion of works on the ‘Crest of a wave housing estate’ in Bundoran.
The funding has been provided by central government and the upgrade works will be carried out by Donegal County Council.
It’s expected that the funding will address historical issues over footpaths, lighting, sewerage and roads.
The work is expected to start at the end of June.
Cllr Michael McMahon has been working on the project and says the allocation will come as welcome news to residents that have campaigned over a period of time to have a number of issues resolved:
