A new Cathaoirleach and Leas Cathaoirleach have been elected for the Donegal Municpal District.
The council held their AGM today where Laghey based Fianna Fail Councillor, Micheal Naughton, was selected as Cathoirleach and Ballyshannon based Fine Gael Councillor, Barry Sweeney is the new Leas Cathoirleach.
They take over from Sinn Fein Councillors Michael Jordon and Micahel McMahon who were the previous Cathoirleach and Leas Cathoirleach respectively
