The Blue Flags and Green Coast Awards for 2020 have been announced on social media this morning.
Donegal has now secured the most Blue Flags in Ireland with 12 beaches and 2 marinas included.
Following the north west county has now overtaken Kerry as the County with the most blue flags beaches in Ireland.
Locally the beaches at Bundoran, Rossnowlagh, Fintra and Murvagh have received blue flags.
In Sligo Rosses Point has been awarded Blue Flag Status, continuing their proud record of having secured the coveted status every year since 2013.
