The N59 Sligo to Ballina road has now fully reopened.
It had been reduced to one lane at Culleens due to smoke from a forest fire in the area.
Both Sligo and Mayo Fire Services were battling it since last Wednesday.
A number of gorse and forest fires took place over the last week and it’s hoped the recent break in the weather will stop any further ones developing.
