A protest in support of the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement is taking place in Sligo town tomorrow afternoon.
The event is a show of solidarity locally, following the death of George Floyd and the subsequent protests in the US.
Kelly McDermott, who’s one of the Sligo organisers, says tomorrow’s protest will be peaceful – and social distancing will be observed.
