The number of newly infected people with Covid-19 has slowed in the north west.
There is a total of 689 cases across the region; 477 in Donegal, 83 in Leitrim and 129 in Sligo.
This remains the same as the figure on Wednesday last.
Nationally, two more people have died due to Covid-19 while a further 66 people have tested positive for the virus.
There has now been a total of 24,990 total confirmed cases with 1,652 deaths.
Dr Gabriel Scally says any plan to lift lockdown here any earlier depends on the number of new cases emerging staying low.
Dr Scally says many parts of the country are on the right track.
