It’s been claimed that the Tourism Recovery Taskforce established by the government, is lacking front line representation and is not sufficiently geographically diverse.
The claims have been made by the Fianna Fáil Spokesperson on Transport, Tourism, and Sport Marc MacSharry TD.
The Sligo/Leitrim TD says membership of this new taskforce needs to be expanded to represent other elements from within the tourism sector including representation from Vintners and those with experience working in the North West.
