Warning issued to road users as silage season starts



Road users across the Counties of Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal have been warned to take extra care on the region’s roads over the summer months.

 

With more agricultural contractors expected to be on the roads during silage season the warning has been issued by the Road safety authority and the Irish farmers association

 

Roads are much busier this summer with pedestrians and cyclists because of Covid 19 restrictions.
