Distinctive tattoos the key to identifying body washed up at Tullaghan in 1986



Tattoos with the word ‘Eire’, and the images of a shamrock and daggers are seen as key in a new bid to identify the body of a man washed up at Tullaghan Strand in North Leitrim in May, 1986. As the Garda Missing Persons Bureau launches an appeal, well known journalist and author, Barry Cummins, has become directly involved and is hopeful the man can be identified, even 34 years on
