Gardaí across the north west are carrying out numerous checkpoints and patrols this weekend.
Operation Fanacht is underway, after first being introduced during the Easter Bank Holiday, and is aimed at reducing the spread of Covid-19.
Sligo/Leitrim and the Donegal divisions have been carrying out checkpoints and patrols across the region since yesterday.
Restrictions are hoped to begin easing including increasing the distance you can travel from your home for exercise from 2km to 5km this Tuesday.
However, the staggered plan is not yet in operation meaning people must still remain within 2km this bank holiday.
