The Garda Divisional Drugs Unit accompanied by Sligo Gardaí in carrying out searches of two premises in the Sligo Town area yesterday afternoon.
During the course of these searches Gardaí discovered approximately 3kg of cannabis herb. The find is valued at €60,000.
One male was arrested and brought to Ballymote Garda Station for questioning in relation to these illegal drugs.
