Rock Community Nursing Unit residents moved to St. Joseph’s Community Hospital



All residents of the Rock Community Nursing Unit in Co. Donegal have been moved due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

In a statement to OceanFM, the HSE confirmed that the action is being taken because the current premises is an old building.

The people have been moved to St. Joseph’s Community Hospital in Stranorlar.

All families and guardians have been contacted and the reasons for moving explained.

The HSE further stated they will ‘continue to assess the situation to ensure that any actions that we take are in the overall interest of maintaining the health and safety of our patients.’
