Mens Shed Association launches Covid-19 ‘buddy’ system



The Irish Men’s Sheds Association (IMSA) has launched a campaign right across the North West for people to check in on someone who is at risk of complete isolation.

The CEO of the Men’s Shed Association, Barry Sheridan, says some people in Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal will now face weeks or even months with minimal social contact or, in some cases, none at all.

The sheds are operating a ‘buddy’ system where men are asked to check in on one another by simply calling them for a cuppa.
