Walkers asked to follow the ‘Countryside Code’

The Donegal IFA chairperson is asking people who are out walking in the countryside to follow the ‘countryside code.’

Brendan McLaughling is making the comments following the surge in people out and about in the north west.

There are also concerns due to the increase in people walking their dogs, which are not allowed on private farmland, as it is lambing season.

Speaking to Ocean FM News, Brendan McLaughlin says in extreme circumstances it could mean ewes miscarrying their lambs.
