Gardai in Sligo disrupted ongoing illegal activity in Sligo, Leitrim and North Mayo this week.
Last week, Gardai in Sligo and Ballymote conducted an operation targeting individual’s involved stealing commercial property in Sligo, Leitrim and Mayo.
Gardai recovered some €17,800 worth in stolen property.
The operation discovered the theft of more than €23,000 worth of tools and equipment from four separate businesses in the region which occurred between the 23rd until the 25th of March.
As well as this, Gardaí also intercepted individuals engaged in criminal activity in Sligo.
The operation also included a number of searches, a seizure of 2 vehicles believed to be used for crime, recovered €17,800 worth of stolen goods and seized a range of items including electronic equipment.
