A Sligo/Leitrim TD is calling on Government to extend flexibility to drivers that are looking to renew their driving licence during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Fianna Fail’s spokesperson on transport, Marc MacSharry is calling on the government to show flexibility on the provision of driving licenses for front-line medical staff as test centres and the national driver licence office remains closed across the country.
Deputy MacSharry is also calling for leniency for the thousands of learner driver permit holders who are now ineligible to renew their license without booking a driving test.
