As efforts intensify to stop the spread of the coronavirus, the bishop of the catholic Diocese of Elphin has urged priests NOT to do their usual calls to people on the first Friday of the month.
Bishop Kevin Doran says that while priests ARE administering the Last Rites and the Sacrament of the Sick, they must be careful NOT to place themselves — and others — at risk as they go from place to place.
