The new National Covid-19 Income Support Scheme is part of extraordinary measures to help ordinary Irish citizens and families during this period of great economic and social stress.
That’s according to Sligo Leitrim Fine Gael TD Frank Feighan
Deputy Feighan says these new measures will be very costly, with an initial estimated cost of €3.7billion over a twelve week period.
The Sligo TD says this new payment will provide financial support to Irish workers and companies affected by the crisis.
