In south Donegal, Kilcar Parish Council and the local GAA club are operating a service to help their local community by putting on a free home delivery service for those wishing to avail of it.
The service includes the pickup and delivery of shopping and urgent supplies, collection and delivery of medication, posting of mail or just someone to listen if a person would like to chat.
Deliveries will be left at people’s door in keeping with current guidelines and the protocol of keeping at least two meters distance will be enforced.
The service is working in conjunction with Byrne’s Foodstore and with Centra, both in Kilcar, to where people can ring in their orders
