Several voluntary groups being formed to help with Covid-19

Hundreds if not thousands of people across the north west are forming  voluntary groups to help people during the Coronavirus outbreak.

The elderly and those with underlying health conditions are the most vulnerable to Covid-19 and with the social distancing measures in place, many are left alone and isolated in their homes.

Damien Mcintyre of one such group, DBI (Dunkineely/Bruckless/Inver Support Group), says the current situation is tough for everyone.

Speaking to OceanFM News, he says people are able to help ‘day or night.’
