John Gault, Thornhill, Sligo and late staff Sligo Institute of Technology. Peacefully, at Sligo University Hospital. Private cremation on Thursday. Thomas Coleman, London and formerly of Rathmullan, Ballymote, Co. Sligo. Removal from Knock Airport today to arrive at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Culfadda for 6pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 12pm. Burial afterwards in St. Columba’s Cemetery, Ballymote. People are asked to follow HSE guidelines on public gatherings if attending Thomas’s funeral.

 

Michael Connolly, Carrownanty, Ballymote, Co. Sligo. Suddenly at his residence. Son of the late Val and Una. Funeral mass on Thursday at 12 noon in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballymote. Burial afterwards in St. Columbus Cemetery. Mass is private to family and friends, please follow HSE guidelines.

 

Anne Gray, Salisbury and formerly of Mail Coach Road, Sligo. After a short illness. Mass of the Resurrection will take place at St. Osmund’s Church, Salisbury on Friday 27th March at 11am followed by cremation. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to Salisbury District Hospital Stars Appeal.

 

Annie Harvey, Friary, Lough Eske, Donegal Town. Peacefully at home in her 100th year. Remains reposing at her late residence until 10pm today. House private to family and friends and also adhering to HSE guidelines. Private funeral mass on Thursday in St Mary’s Church Killymard at 11 am, with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Jim Burke, Sooey, Co Sligo. Peacefully at St Phelim’s Nursing Home, Dromahair. Predeceased by his wife Rosita. Reposing at Kelly’s Funeral Home, Ballygawley on Thursday from 5pm until 7pm, with removal afterwards to the Church of the Assumption, Sooey, arriving at 7.30pm.  Funeral Mass will take place on Friday at 12 noon,  with burial afterwards in St Joseph’s cemetery, Sooey. To ensure compliance with the HSE and Government guidelines on social distancing, Kelly’s Funeral Home will be private to family only on Thursday evening. Numbers at Sooey Church will be limited to a maximum of 100 for both the receiving of remains on Thursday evening at 7.30pm and at the funeral mass at 12 noon on Friday.

 

Tessie Gurhy (nee Benson) Ross, Riverstown, Co Sligo. Peacefully at St Patrick’s Nursing Home, Carrick On Shannon. Funeral Mass will take place in the Church of The Sacred Heart, Riverstown on Thursday at 12 noon, with burial afterwards in Tawnagh cemetery.
