“Businesses with cash flow issues need to engage with Revenue” – Doherty



A Donegal TD is calling on small to medium sized businesses experiencing cash flow problems to engage with Revenue as a matter of priority.

Sinn Fein’s Finance spokesperson Pearse Doherty is advising that all effected business sectors that are economically impacted due to the coronavirus outbreak should avail of the supports in place at Revenue.

Some of the measures include returning tax returns on time, suspension of interest on late payments, the suspension of debt enforcement and tax clearance remaining in place.

Deputy Doherty is due to meet with the Department of Finance and ask for the implementation of a commercial rate holiday, deferral of VAT payments and scrapping charges for card transactions:
