Eileen O’Connor, née Golden, 54 Maugheraboy Estate, Sligo, and formerly of Carrigans Lower, Ballymote, Co. Sligo. Suddenly, at her residence. Reposing at The Foley and McGowan Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo (F91YR61) this evening from 5.30pm to 7pm. Funeral will arrive to The Cathedral of The Immaculate Conception, Sligo on Wednesday morning for Requiem Mass at 11.30am, for family only. Funeral will proceed to Ballymote Cemetery, Co. Sligo after. Your co-operation with social distancing measures is necessary at this time. House private please. Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to St. Vincent de Paul, care of The Foley and McGowan Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo.

 

Brigid Rooney, nee Feeney, Ballygilgan, Carney, Co. Sligo. Peacefully, at St John’s Hospital, Sligo. Reposing at McGloin’s Funeral Home, Cliffoney today from 5pm to 7pm. Removal at 7pm to St Patrick’s Church, Maugherow arriving at 7.30pm. Requiem Mass will be private to family and friends on Wednesday at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Carrigans cemetery Please note, in line with HSE guidelines, people are encouraged not to shake hands or use the condolence book.

 

John Gault, Thornhill, Sligo and late staff Sligo Institute of Technology. Peacefully, at Sligo University Hospital. Private cremation on Thursday. Friends will be welcomed at a Celebration of Life, date and venue to be announced later. Family home private please. Thomas Coleman, London and formerly of Rathmullan, Ballymote, Co. Sligo. Removal from Knock Airport on Wednesday to arrive at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Culfadda for 6pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 12pm. Burial afterwards in St. Columba’s Cemetery, Ballymote. People are asked to follow HSE guidelines on public gatherings if attending Thomas’s funeral.

 

Walter Lowe, Athenry, Co. Galway, Ballisodare, Co. Sligo and Carrick on Shannon, Co. Leitrim.  Due to the government guidelines on public gatherings, Walters funeral will be held in private. Burial will take place on Wednesday in St. Nathy’s Cemetery, Collooney, Co Sligo at 1pm. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

 

Michael Connolly, Carrownanty, Ballymote, Co. Sligo. Suddenly, at his residence. Son of the late Val and Una. Funeral mass on Thursday at 12 noon in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballymote. Burial afterwards in St. Columbus Cemetery. Mass is private to family and friends, please follow HSE guidelines.

 

Anne Gray, Salisbury and formerly of Mail Coach Road, Sligo. After a short illness. Mass of the Resurrection will take place at St. Osmund’s Church, Salisbury on Friday 27th March at 11am followed by cremation. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to Salisbury District Hospital Stars Appeal.
