A social afternoon for those suffering from dementia, and their carers, is taking place this evening .
Hosted by Ard na Greine Nursing Home, Enniscrone, it’s aimed at those who previously attended a recent information evening but is open to all.
Mabel George is from the nursing home and says there is a stigma surrounding dementia sufferers.
The event is free to attend and is taking place in the Ocean Sands Hotel on Wednesday, today March 4th from 3pm to 6pm.
