Flooding causing financial and mental pressures for farmers



Flooded farms is putting serious strain on farmers, not just physically but also mentally.

That’s according to the Connacht Regional Chair of the IFA Pat Murphy, who has met a number of people who are under pressure because of flooding.

He believes the government need to do more to support farmers in crisis and re-implement the farm relocation scheme that once existed.
