Animal Collectors Association commence strike action



The Animal Collectors Association is to go on strike today in a dispute over the new fallen animal scheme.

Fianna Fails spokesperson on Agriculture is calling on Minister Micheal Creed to engage in talks over the dispute.

If a farmer has a animal that dies, there will be no service to collect the fallen animal, and farmers cannot bury the animals on their land.
