A Survey of Strandhill town to be carried out



The Strandhill Community Development Association (SCDA) are carrying out a ‘Health Check’ of Strandhill Village.

In conjunction with Meehan & Tulley consultants, the survey will provide an opportunity for local residents in Strandhill to have their say on what the public think about the village, what positive aspects exist, areas of improvement and thoughts on future areas of concern.

The results of the ‘Health Check’ will be discussed and dissected by the SCDA and made into a policy document which can published publicly.

One of the issues that David claims will be common trend from the results of the survey will be the recent damage to the seafront after Storm Ciara and Dennis. He believes more needs to be done to stop the recurrence of storm damage and coastal erosion:
