Fianna Fail parliamentary meeting opportunity to voice opinions – Marc MacSharry

Calls are being made for fines and possible jail time for those who damage or steal life saving equipment.

In recent months, a defibrillator in Ballintogher, Co. Sligo was damaged.

Bray Cardiac First Responders in Wicklow are calling for specific legislation to deal with people who show disregard for such vital equipment.

Sligo Fine Gael Councillor and PRO with two local Defibrillator Action Groups, Thomas Walsh, agrees.

He says there is already legislation ready to be approved.
