New IFA president to make changes to the organisation

The new President of the IFA, Tim Cullinane may only be a few days into his term, however he has already hit the ground running with his opening address to the National Council organisation.

The Tipperary farmer has also impressed many observers by the way he has held various dealings with politicians in the lead up to the general election.

Cullinane who succeeded Joe Healy in the role is also expected to make some changes to the IFA management structures such as restoring some former committees.

Kathleen Henry is the chairperson of the Sligo IFA, she says Cullinane will bring his own set of skills to the role of National President.
