Mother charged with murder of children remanded to March 4th



A sick note was handed in to court this morning to excuse the attendance of a woman charged with the murder of her three children in Dublin.

Deirdre Morley is accused of murdering her 3-year-old daughter Carla and two sons Conor and Darragh at their home at Parson’s Court in Newcastle.

The children’s bodies were discovered on January 24th.

Their father, Andrew, is from Donegal Town.

Deirdre Morley was further remanded in custody today and the judge recommended that she continue to receive medical and psychiatric care.

She’s due back in court on March 4th.
