Fine Gael have let farmers down – FF Charlie McConalogue



Fianna Fail is aiming to ensure a fair return for farmers and affordable food for Irish consumers under its Agricultural policy.

The party says it’s ready to defend CAP funding for farmers and says it must become a priority for the EU again.

It’s also looking to introduce a national food ombudsman, who would be able to issue penalties to anyone engaging in unfair trading practices.
